The Origin

Cynthia Hernandezgarcia fell in love with animation as a medium that combines art, storytelling, and technology in a way no other art form can. But she wasn't drawn to being an animator herself — she was drawn to the complex, collaborative machinery of animation production management.

At The Los Angeles Film School, Cynthia studied animation and built the foundational understanding of the production pipeline — from storyboarding to final render — that would allow her to manage productions at the highest level.

Her career began with an internship in China in 2017, shortly after graduating. That international experience gave her a global perspective on animation production that set her apart from her peers.

From there, Cynthia rose through the ranks quickly — building a career spanning DreamWorks, DreamEast Pictures, Netflix, and Nickelodeon, and managing productions for some of the most beloved animated series on television.

"Animation is the most collaborative art form in the world. My job is to make sure every artist can do their best work."
