Policies & Agreements

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, signing in, or using LaFilmMode ("the Platform," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy and Community Rules. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to these terms).
  • You agree to provide accurate, current information at registration and to keep your account credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account and must notify us of any unauthorized use.

3. User-Generated Content

  • You retain ownership of content you post (photos, videos, music, film work, stories, captions, comments, messages, profile info).
  • You grant LaFilmMode a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute your content within the Platform to operate and promote the service.
  • You represent that you own or have the rights to all content you post and that it does not infringe any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • We do not claim ownership of your work; your credits and rights as a creator remain yours.

4. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct

  • You will not use the Platform to upload, post, or share unlawful, infringing, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, or harmful content (see Community Rules).
  • You will not spam, scrape, overload, or attempt to disrupt the Platform, circumvent any security measure, or access another user's data without permission.
  • You will not use the Platform for any unlawful activity or to violate any applicable law.

5. Battles & Voting

  • Music, beat, video, animation, and film battles are community features. You agree not to manipulate votes, create multiple accounts to vote, or coerce others to vote.
  • Battle submissions must be your original work. Submitted content may be displayed to other users for voting and viewing.
  • We reserve the right to remove submissions or disqualify entries that violate these rules.

6. Payments & Brand Packages

  • Certain features (brand packages, marketing services, and other paid offerings) may require payment processed through our payment provider.
  • All fees are stated at checkout. You authorize the provider to charge the selected amount.
  • Refunds, where applicable, are handled per the terms stated at the time of purchase and applicable consumer-protection law.

7. Content Moderation

We may review, remove, or restrict content or accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Rules, suspend or terminate access, and cooperate with law enforcement when required. We are not obligated to monitor all content but may act on reports.

8. Intellectual Property & DMCA

  • LaFilmMode, its logos, and platform software are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute platform materials without permission.
  • To report infringing content, contact us with the details of the work, the infringing material, and your contact information. We will process valid notices in accordance with applicable law.

9. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service, or the accuracy, completeness, or safety of user content. User content reflects the views of its creators, not LaFilmMode.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LaFilmMode and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Platform.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold LaFilmMode harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your content or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause, and remove your content.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by a new agreement version; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We may require you to re-sign when terms materially change.

14. Govering Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Los Angeles County, California, to the extent permitted by law.
